Sillett House

Dating back to the Middle Ages Horsham was an important market town and now has a rich history, broad architectural heritage and a beautiful park. Located in the north east of West Sussex on the borders of Surrey, Horsham is surrounded by outstanding countryside and has been the inspiration for poets, artists and filmmakers.

A 15 minute walk from Sillett House, through the picturesque park, is the town centre combining historic buildings and a modern shopping mall which offers a variety of both national retailers and local shops. There are several piazzas where regular farmers markets are held,  together with yearly visits from French and Italian traders and, if time allows, you can sit enjoying a coffee or two and watch the world go by!

The Capitol Theatre is a short walk from Sillett House providing both live performances of drama, music and entertainment and also houses the local cinema.

The Pavillions sports complex, situated on the edge of the park, offers swimming, a gym and an array of fitness classes.

There are several well established golf course nearby, the nearest being Rookwood just a 5 minute drive from Sillett House.

At the end of Wimblehurst Road is Smith and Western an American style diner severing a variety of foods including burgers, ribs, steak and salads and a further 2 minute walk away is the pub, The Dog and Bacon, serving more English traditional fare.
